Everyone, meet Franz Liszt.

Good. Now, I hope we can all be friends.

Franz is a composer and he got this lovely portrait painted for him by Henry Lehmann in 1839. And when he's not sending locks of dog hair (urban legend) to 19th Century squealing classical fangirls he's doing his best young Severus Snape impression.

Not bad, eh?

I love Liszt! When I was a little girl my mother used to play his Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 on the piano, and we children would dance about the room, slowly at first and then with wild abandon. A few knick-knacks met an untimely demise, and to this day these are some of my best memories!

I love the Hungarian Rhapsody and I do belive that portrait was used on the cover of an edition of A Picture of Dorian Gray. The most beautiful man of all time.

Yes, nice portrait amd nice comparison. I just friended you because I've been a lurking fan/reader of The Gilded Cage for a bit now. I owe you some serious reviews, but in the meantime, I just LOVE the story. Tonight, ahemrather this morning, I looked to see if you had any other stories on FanFiction.net, and I found Plan B. OMG, I just LOVE it! Then I saw that your profile mentioned your LJ account. I've been part of the SS/HG shipper community on LJ for a couple of years now. I haven't been posting directly to my LJ for the past few months, due to RL family issues eating my time, but I'm still reading the SS/HG Exchange regularly and following a number of WIP's, including A Gilded Cage. Scrolling through your journal I saw this picture and thought it was as good a place as any to introduce myself and say hello. Thank you for all the joy I get out of reading your fics. Thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying TGC. Plan B is a very different fic - it moves fast where TGC crawls, so I'm thrilled you enjoyed both.

I don't update the journal that much either. Only when I have something to say, kinda like, 'I'm not dead yet!' Though with TGC's schedule I think most people know that already.
