No. Ran out of time to post between work and road trip out to the campsite where our friends gathered to ring in the New Year.

Where are they camping? Our tradition is camping Thanksgiving weekend but the past two years we haven't been able to, darn it.

It wasn't actually any kind of tradition. A friend of ours rented out one of the campsites at Lake Bisteneau park as a holiday gift to all of our reenactor buddies. It was fantastic. About thirty-some of us got together in the Rec Hall to celebrate and then we all stumbled back to the bunks. Nobody had to drive. It was really nice to have a great party and not worry about parking or a cab.
